Went here for my engagement party. Had a fantastic atmosphere. Phenomenal food and tapas, as well as a great beer selection. Very knowledgeable and friendly servers. I will continue frequenting Cafe Iberico and recommend that others stop in for an authentic Spainish cuisine while in Chicago.

Maybe only 2.5 stars. Decor does nothing for me. I'm willing to look past the decor if food is great, but that's not the case. I wanted it to be great, but everything we ordered was a little disappointing in taste or quality. Actually that's not totally true. I did like the Garlic Potato Salad. We're looking for better alternatives nearby for Tapas. Will try Emilios since we like the original in Hillside, and will go back to Cafe Babba Reba.

One of the most famous Spanish restaurants.
It offers a great variety of Spanish cosine options.

Their tapas are great. Their sangria is awesome, both white and red.
I recommend going in groups and getting different tapas and share them all.

On the weekend there may be a long wait. Over the years the capacity has increased, but as this is one of the most famous tapas places in the city, you'll find yourself waiting specially after 9pm.

Good tapas and sangria, in my opinion customer service needs improvement. Our last visit we waited over 15 minute before our server came over to our table and greeted us. We also had to ask for utensils, water and plates.. things that normally a server or a busboy should be on top of.

Haven't been back since before kids. Still wonderful food, but both my wife and I thought the number of items (tapas specifically) on the menu had been greatly reduced. Reasonably priced. In addition to the tapas, we got the lamb and the Iberico paella and they were great. Would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.
