Also good information about traditional Swedish architecture.

For those interested in architecture, this is a nice enough place to visit. There's descriptions of Swedish architectural history and development, miniature models of both houses that were built, and that weren't, and some other tidbits of knowledge. Free entrance, but the exhibit is small. It shares locale with the Modern Museum, so you can stroll from ArkDes to there, without leaving the building.

Really interesting exhibition on housing affordability and availability. Also, a gingerbread house competition! I didn't think I'd be very interested, but it really surprised me. And it's free. It's in the same building as the Modern Museet (modern art gallery)
