Once a year, when we go back to Portugal, we always go to Matosinhos to eat fresh fish and seafood.
As expected, we have our favourites and Mariazinha is one of them.
Located away from the bustling of the Av. Serpa Pinto, this restaurant has enough parking places available.
The restaurant is in a residential building, occupying the ground and first floors.
We always have the crab, boiled in salted water and the insides prepared with a cocktail sauce. As main we prefer the monkfish rice. We also enjoy the cod fish fritters as starters.
To help gulp down the dinner we drink the house "vinho verde".
Food is always delicious and very consistently well prepared.
Service is always friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
