The food is made with love and the wine list very interesting. Try in the fabulous eggplant fritters and the peanut brittle

Away from the tourists and the monuments is an authentic Roman trattoria with great food and reasonable prices. You'll need a reservation for dinner, but lunch is just as good, especially if you have the luxury of taking a nap that afternoon.

One of the best meals you can have in Rome. Out of the way in an area that feels much more real to the local spirit. Mario Batali says it's amazing and it really is. Great pastas and appetizers. Cheap wine! Can't go wrong with this and in a city filled with uncaring front of house customer service this is a place you will receive much better service.
