Ein wunderschöner Garten, gepflegte Zimmer, zuvorkommendes Personal und ein Koch, der seinesgleichen sucht! Die Gartenzimmer sind zwar etwas teurer aber definitiv den kleinen Aufschlag wert. Man wacht durch Vogelgezwitscher auf und fragt sich, ob man wirklich mitten in der Münchner Altstadt ist. Das ausgewählte, kleine Frühstücksbuffet lässt kaum Wünsche offen, so dass man gestärkt in den Tag starten kann. Wenn man Abends zurück kommt, kann man den Abend wunderbar mit den von Chefkoch Rosario gezauberten Gerichten und einem edlen Tropfen ausklingen lassen und von einem stressigen Tag in der Großstadt in der kleinen Oase erholen.

Lovely boutique hotel close to the heart of Munich. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Staff speaks English as well as German.

Stayed there for one night, super friendly staff. I loved the garden area. It's very laid back, nothing fancy but very clean.

My wife and I have been regular costumers of the Maximilian every December for the past 4 years. During these cold days in Munich, the Maximilian is like being at home away from home. It is quiet, confortable, clean and conviniently located. The wonderful staff is always available and helpful. We never had to worry about anything. The kitchenette in the room is a wonderful plus that gives you flexibility if you are staying for a week or more like us and you don't want to go out for dinner everyday. Supermarket is 3 mins away and the Viktualienmarkt is 5 mins away to get some groceries. The Maximilian is the perfect spot to explore the city and all it has to offer just by walking or by using public transportation. True that the rates are on the high side, but you really get value for your money. We will be back next December, as usual!
