Ordered the prawns (total of 2) with goats cheese tortellini. One of the 2 prawns was raw and the dish cost $38. No discount or sorry or offer for a free coffee. Shame otherwise it would have been great. Probably wouldn't go back.

Rockpool is impressive from the start. Beautiful lighting, modern furniture. Helpful and sincere staff. As many reviewers have already said, the bread and butter sets the tone. A very long list of drinks is fun but in the end the recommended Italian sour was pretty good. My partner and I shared a raw fish tasting plate - subtle flavours and some fish I have never eaten before. We then ordered the $60 fillet and $129 sirloin just to compare with each other. Both were amazing but the depth of flavours in the sirloin is why it's so expensive. The deserts were very good. Thanks for a fun night out!!

went there for dinner last week and was left dissapointed. The bread was a good start and so were the prawns for entree. However my main course (quail) was just terrible. The quail smelt like my dog and it was covered in dill which didn't make sense. Portion size was enough to fill a 5 year old maybe. Not a picky eater but this meal was not to be picked at. Never had a bad experience like this at any restaurant!

My wife and I had lunch today at the Rockpool and was blown away by the service and the food quality. I purchased the $125.00 rib eye and it was by far the best steak I have ever had and did not question the cost of the steak for one second. We are defiantly making this restaurant our must book location as we both believe the quality all-allround of the Rockpool is second to none.

P.S Please add your mini beef sliders to the main menu AMAZING!

Rockpool has its magic on meat, atmosphere and service.
Their chargrilled selection is generous, with a wide selection and most of the time cooked to perfection. Other items in the menu also very nice (but the experience with fish didn't meet my expectations). Another star at the restaurant is the bread. No other restaurant in Perth has such bread. Keep it up!
They also have a bar menu in another section of the restaurant. Their hamburger is very nice! The only thing I will review at the bar menu are the sides.
Atmosphere and customer service outstanding as usual; and for regular customers they always show their token of appreciation (as well as for birthdays)!
Multilingual staff was noticed which isn't common in Perth (I love that fact as makes the place special)!
The sincere suggestion is for them to review the prices on certain items within the menu.
